I'm a professionally trained intimacy coach and nothing gives me more pleasure than empowering people to love themselves and others better.
Originally born and raised in Florence, Italy, I have been living in the United States for the last 12 years.
As a child I always wanted to be an actor. To me, being an actor meant understanding a character inside out and making anybody in the audience who related to parts of that character feel ok about themselves. That's always been the gift I strived to offer to my friends and family, a loving way to make them feel good about themselves and heal, even if briefly, their hearts. I studied Cinema and Philosophy in Bologna, then headed to New York to an acting school where I learned how to have empathy for an insane amount of characters, from Joan of Arc to Cecily Cardew.
Years later, I stumbled upon Celeste Hirshman and Danielle Harel, the founders of the Somatica Institute in San Francisco. They introduced themselves as "shame warriors," and that was it. I realized that that's what I had wanted to do and be all my life, a shame warrior!
As I mentioned, my greatest joy is to help people love themselves and others better and studying at the Somatica Institute has given me the tools and knowledge to do that.
